NV Department of Health Issues Viral Meningitis Advisory

To: Rural County School Districts

Washoe County is currently experiencing an outbreak of viral meningitis caused by Enterovirus. While there have been no cases of viral meningitis reported in any of Nevada’s rural counties, there continues to be new cases reported in Washoe County.
